Gentlemen, here's the briefing for the next training day. Make sure, that all attending pilots know about the content presented below.

Briefing "mission orientated combat"

Scenario: Training under circumstances we face in competitive campaign missions - there's a job which has to be done! Two teams will have to accomplish three targets within a time limit of 20 min per target.

Procedure: The training will be flown in rounds. Since there are six targets, we will fly six rounds. In each round, one team will have to attack a target given by mission control whereas the opposing team will have to set up a defence. Notice that the attacking team always flies on blue side. After each round sides will be switched. Every pilot has got one life per round. Pilots who get shot down during a mission can use the airspawn bases in the south to spend the remaining time until next round fighting each other. Team 1 will start on blue side in the first round. Team 2 will be the defending team, respectively. Check the attached map for target locations which are depicted in the corresponding colours mentioned in the map's caption. More detailed target Intel can be extracted from the in game briefing. Moreover, mission control will provide the teams with particular target details.

Rules of engagement: A round is started and ended by mission control! Refly therefore only on its signal! A mission has to be completed within 20 min to be credited as accomplished. The time limit includes landing or ditching behind friendly lines which means that every pilot alive has to be back behind friendly lines after 20 min.

The attacking team is only allowed to attack the assigned target. Any breach of this rule will automatically lead to mission status "failed" and the mission will be aborted!

Both teams are free to use any tactics they assume to be suitable to accomplish their current mission. There's no restrictions of load outs or planes they want to use. However, it is only allowed to attack with two ground attack planes - not more. Every plane carrying bombs or rockets will be considered as ground attack planes in the current mission. Fighter escorts are allowed to strafe and to carry gun pods but no bombs. Take into account that it's not allowed to use the same plane for both duties - escort and ground attack. For instance: Let's assume the attacking team wants to use 190s for GA then they aren't allowed to use 190s as escort fighters.
The defending team is not allowed to use GA aircraft at all. Apart from that they can use any available fighter crate in desired numbers.

A mission will automatically end in the following cases: - All players from both teams are dead. - The 20 min limit has been reached. - All remaining players have landed.
Victory conditions: The team with more accomplished targets at the end of six rounds will be victorious. Points are given by completing a target --> 1 P per accomplished target. A target needs to be destroyed up to 75% at least to be counted as accomplished. The defending team thus can only prevent the other team to gain points by stoping it to complete its target. Therefore, each team can gather 3 points to the max.
In case of questions contact I/JG7_Killerfliege for help.
Each attendant is advised to read through this briefing in advance because mission control will assume that every attending pilot is informed by the day training will take place. No questions being asked on mission day which are answered by this briefing will be replied to on mission day.
Be prepared!
